Salcombe Harbour, Devon

Strolling along Salcombe Harbour pre wedding, before joining festival bride Daisy in her family-packed suite at the South Sands Hotel. The October sunshine made Devon look like Big Sur at its most edenic, or perhaps a
particularly magical slice of Spain on the edge of the Mediterranean. We’d like to go back and wander for longer next time, and explore the ruins of Fort Charles, built by Henry VIII, apparently, to protect Devon from Spanish pirates.
